Details: This c.1950s birthday card was produced by Clarks Shoes as part of their Lucky Two-Shoe Club, a scheme introduced in the early 1950s.

Children were enrolled in the club upon being bought their first pair of shoes from Clarks. Members received an enamel badge and were sent a card on their birthday each year, featuring an illustration of mascot Lucky the horse.
