Details: French artist Alain Cornic (b. 1920) created this magazine illustration to advertise the French Tourist Office in 1961.

Much of the work I have found by Cornic is for print advertising, including work for Martell Cognac and Air France. Cornic also illustrated travel guides, including a couple of series of maps for Shell.
