Details: This buvard illustration advertising BIC is by Gouju + Amalric. It is undated but looks c.1950s. A poster featuring the artwork was printed in 1954.

I believe Gouju + Amalric to have been the working name of designers Maurice Gouju and Georges Amalric. Together, they worked on posters for Loterie Nationale, Balto and Philips.

They also appear to have also had careers separate to each other, with Gouju designing stamps and Amalric creating book designs and posters.
