Continental Across the Pacific (c.1970)

Year: Undated (c.1970s)

Format: Folder

Illustrator: Uncredited

Client: Continental Airlines

Details: This Continental Airlines folder is undated but appears to be from the early 1970s. It contains boarding passes, a menu and a range of related leaflets for their Boeing 747 service, which was launched in 1970.

The artwork is unsigned but looks like it could have been created by the same artist who illustrated posters advertising Continental flights to Hawaii in the late 1960s (also uncredited).

An advert for Continental Airlines’s “Celebration” advertising campaign in late 1960s featured a similar style and was illustrated by Nicolas Sidjakov (1924-1993).
